T-mobile signal in Belfast/N.Down

Hi guys,

After Orange shafting me at the end of my contract I need a new provider. I know T-mobile and Orange should be sharing but I have great 3g and data coverage on Orange whereas the T-mob coverage indicator suggests that there is almost zero data signal anywhere except belfast city centre. Anyone know what T-mobile data (both 3g and GPRS etc) is like in NI?

Thanks

OK thanks... so much for the sharing networks thing!

    Thanks

Why not three? They do share with T mobile but I have fantastic coverage in Belfast. Voda really isn't worth the money.

Three is bad because you only get data over 3g. There is absolutely zero data beyond that. A lot of the time I just want email updates and the data over 2g is quite adequate.

I am getting the feeling that Orange is actually the best option by a mile... but i really dont want to stick with the !!!!!!s!

Talk mobile is pretty decent actually. O2 is the best though.

In Northern Ireland you never want to go to T-Mobile, unless you are in Belfast city centre reception is awful.

I'd put the networks in this order over here
    • O2
    • VODAFONE
    • ORANGE/TMOBILE

I would agree, with the following modification

    O2
    Vodafone
    Pigeon Carrier
    Orange/Tmobile

It is funny you guys say that of Orange... I rarely have anything but 3g on orange and I am frequently outside of Belfast. Contrast this to one of my best mates on O2 and he almost never gets 3g inspite of being in the city centre.

He must have something up with his handset then, today for example i was in Strabane, full 3g on o2, best orange could manage was gprs.

I have an internet dongle on orange, ive yet to be anywhere where i can actually use it.

I have reception problems where I live as I face the sea with a large hill behind. The only one that seems to work at all in the house is Vodaphone, and generally I have had no reception problems. With O2 outdoors and top of garden only and you can forget 3g.
