  • Most definately haggle. I was in there a few weeks ago & they are desperate for sales.I even got shown in the back room for further discounted items. A Mayer Super King size bed with matress for £479 reduced from £1800, & still on shop floor for £1200 I had £400 cash & they accepted.I was told that a lot of promotional items are reduced to clear space rather than send back to manufactures.

Not quite the same as haggling but Furniture Village will price match other retailers.
It does not appear to need to be a local retailer as I bought my G Plan sofa between Christmas and New Year for significantly less than the store sale price based on a quote from a few hundred miles away.

Do they do the same range as other retrailers, I thought their range was unique to them? I quite like the Aspen range, not seen it anywhere else.

I couldn't comment on Aspen but certainly some of their stuff comes from other recognised companies (many UK ones at that!) I noticed Ercol and G Plan for example, I assume that wouldn't be the only ones but certainly worth checking out if your tempted by anything they are offering.

I'm looking at buying G plan sofas from Furniture Village as they are offering 3 years interest free credit. I have found same sofas at a cheaper price in a different store but they do not offer the interest free credit.
Does anyone know if Furniture Village will price match when not a cash purchase?

Yes you can haggle, you can also get arrested........ tip, don't try haggling in banks, for some reason it upsets them!! :)
