Evidence of I&E for IPA

Hi all

I'm pre-01/12/2010 IPA and just had an income increase. I've completed the updated I&E form and returned to Moon Beever, but they've written back to say I've not provided evidence. I've never had to provide evidence before - is this new? How much do they need?

I can get the basics, obviously (pay slips, rent agreement, CT etc) but I've not exactly been compulsively keeping all my bus tickets and dry cleaning receipts.

(The letter actually says they're not going to alter the agreement until they get proof, which made me chuckle, as they're about to get an extra £200 a month from me)

Teehee, write back to them asking what specific evidence they require as you are unsure what to provide. That way you are complying and cooperating but the amendment won't happen for a bit longer.;)

I'm assuming they don't backdate increases of course - anyone?

they would only backdate if you had not told them about a change in a reasonable time frame

Yep, I'm a VERY busy person. This could take weeks.

Still puzzled by them asking for evidence in the first place though.

Pity you're not nearer the end of the IPA but still have a year or so to go.;)

Let us know the outcome won't you?
