Impressed with speed of refund from HMRC

Just a quick post to say how impressed I am with the speed of HMRC processing our tax returns and paying back our overpaid tax - submitted paper returns on deadline date of 31 October and money has appeared in account today :beer:. When I spoke to HMRC prior to submitting the returns they estimated a refund date of mid-December. Not very often you can praise HMRC.
