i agree with LEJC about Grandparents appreciating gifts made. If you want some idea's of really easy and cheap items to make have a peek at my homepage hun as most of the things i make are easy and cheap and personal. Also have a look on www.craftycrocodiles.co.uk they do really reasonable things like packs of A5 calendars with a space for your photo to be inserted (or get children to draw a family picture in the space). i think a pack of 5 or 10 is only 99p!.

  • Eviesmummy - I have bought from them twice and always been very happy with their service. They were very quick at dispatching my order.
If you order a catalogue you get a 10% off voucher :money: and it only took 2 days for the catalogue to arrive when I ordered one.

Only downside is they seem to be discontinuing a few items at the moment from their pottery painting range which is a shame.

But their service is fab :T.

As for home made gifts for grandparents we are hand painting mugs for my in laws, then filling with marshmellows, hotchocolate sachet and a candy cane (snowman soup). Then I will cellophane with a chocolate liquor bar (baileys) thrown in. Hoping they go down well!

This year my girls (6 & 8) have chosen to paint a plant pot for each G.parent.
We will plant them up with some 'suprise bulbs' and they'll each chose a packet of flower seeds that they think G.P. will like the best.

How about gingerbread men / shapes, cheap to make and the kids can then go to town "personalising" them :D. Add some cheap ribbon and they can also double up as tree decorations.

Hope is not a strategy :D...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!
