My creative has just given up so I figured I'd upgrade to a 20gig player as I'd almost filled the creative's 4gig.
Looking for one that will be recognised as an external drive, so I don't have to install any software. doesn't have to be anything fancy or play video, or even have a colour screen, as long as it's not a brick. The longer the battery life the better and I'd prefer not to spend over £100
So does anyone know of any decent deals right now?
Thanks.

thanks but I'd have to install itunes or some other third party software with an ipod, they're not just detected as a drive in XP.Sigless0

You could have a look at http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/318257/art/archos/mp3-player-gmini-xs-202-2.html as they have an Archos 20 gig mp3 player for £108 +3.90p&p
Looks pretty good for the money in my opinion0 -
Watford electronics has got 20gb mp3 player for £69.13, made by Vusyu. My boyfriend and I just both brought one, has good reviews and cannot find any fault with it a present. The only down side is if the artist name is not i.d tagged it will come up unknown but this is recified if you rename them. Its not fancy- (no colour screen, etc.. ) But is small enough and can be used a portable hard drive.0
