Where to buy cheap towels??

Having just learnt how to do towel cakes, I am now on a roll!

However, I'm struggling to find cheap towels to use. I was made up when I went to Ikea and found the Haren Towels for 40p each, but at the time I didnt know if i'd be able to make them so I only bought 3. When I went back they were £2!!!!!!!! I managed to pick up a bigger towel for £1 and stocked up, but the price of them has gone up as well now.

Any suggestions for where to buy cheap towels? Ideally no smaller that 50x100cm and no more than £1.50 each. I'm prepared to buy in bulk to get them at this sort of price!

  • I saw some smart price white hand towels in Asda today - 2 for £1.71 I think - obviously they are pretty basic quality. Apart from that I think Primark's towels are pretty reasonable.

Our towels came from Primark a few years ago and they have washed and lasted really well.
