i turned up last sunday about 1030am for the deal to find the rump steak had sold out the day before. Is that usually the case at the stores where you lot go to? Do some of you actually queue/or get there just when the store's open at 9 o'clock or whatever? As I work nights, it's difficult for me to want to get to the shops for 9am on a Saturday morning!

Our local Lidl's open at 8am on Saturday and I got there well before 9am today.
Diced steak was going fast, some did manage to get 6 packs through without question.
I got 2 packs of diced steak and 6 packets of crisps (only charged for 5). :j
I can't see the diced steak lasting longer than mid-morning TBH, first come, first served.

I think that is quite often the case with wine. The larger bottles mature differently and have a premium - or maybe scarcity.
