Wednesday 16th November What Small DFW Things Will You Do Today!?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending. :money:

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important. :D

Good morning everyone!

Not keen on these dark mornings!

Today I will:
Check banks
Check CC
Check Paypal
Check TCB
Check Ebay - 1 bid, yay!
Drive economically to work
Breakfast/lunch/dinner from stores
2lts water
Get money off colleagues owed to my partner
Hopefully NSD depending on if I can work out how to make a pasta bake without Pasta Bake Sauce - if not, small amount on Pasta Bake Sauce!
Update MS Money with above
Find list of relatives who need Christmas cards
Dust bedroom
Some AAT revision for upcoming exams...
Work hard!
Update food site
Sparkle!

Have a lovely day everyone!

  • Morning everyone:
First of hopefully 3 days off for me today (I work a strange shift pattern). Need time off this week too as i'm exhausted so have refused extra shifts (Not very MSE I know). Have had a good lie in this morning, slept till 9.30 but still feel like I could go back to bed. :o

    Todays list:
Washing machine is on, will dry on airer later.
OH has taken my car to work this morning so I can't go far, good excuse to stay in!
Must seriously start to declutter this house, want to move at the end of Jan and don't want to take most of this carp with us (need to get this through to OH though ). Our bin day and recycling collection is in the morning, want to have a couple more bags out than the usaul 1 or 2.
Sort out my mountains of clothes and shoes and be rutheless, will try listing unwanted on Ebay a couple of times and if no sell goes to charity shop. :o
Ebay tonight, at least 10 listings.
Post 1 Ebay parcel, maybe 2 if paid for before mid afternoon.
Meals from stores, soup for lunch, something with chicken for tea.
Have taken a pork roast out of freezer to go in slow cooker tomorrow.
Have cheched Onepoll, nothing but will look again a couple of times through day.
Pooches for a long walk locally.
    Hopefully NSD.

Have a good day everyone, hope we hear from Starnac soon!
