Exchange Rate £ to Euro

First time on here!
I have the oppertunity to work in England or mainland Europe.... I know its an impossible task but the projected £ to Eure exhange rate will decide what to do. Has anybody any idea..... will we be seeing £1 to 1.4 euros again any time soon?
