  • They sent me two. I don't really have any use for two. I'm a bit stuck on the one, really... I had assumed that it would be of the local area, not the whole South of England! Rather than picking out the road where my grandfather was born, and marvelling at how his hometown looked before the motorways were built, it just shows the general region. Which hasn't changed much.

Oh well - such a tiny investment.

Although I guess now I have to try and dig out contact details and let them know they've sent too many. Bother!

can you see an image of it before you buy?
Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

No, there's no option to do that.
If you had been able to, I wouldn't have bought it. Not what I expected, it's a larger scale than I thought and very hard to make out the details. I'd have been happier with a different scale covering a smaller area.
I just decided for £3 it was worth taking the chance, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

returned mine and was refunded straight away, no questions asked.
  • Well I was a little apprehensive after reading all of these comments! However, it's arrived today and is perfectly acceptable, considering it's a facsimile of such an old map. A lovely little extra for my Pa's birthday, and I may splash out on one for the OH!
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
