Wanna hear TV sound - Sagem ITD58 freeview box

I have just set up a Sagem ITD58 on my little Philips TV/VCR. I have all the channels and the picture but no sound. The TV is definitely not on mute. The helpline offices are closed. Can anyone help?

FV boxes have sound built in to the box - so you have to put the volume up via the menu. Look in your user manual but this is usually
Menu
Tv and Video settings
Volume - You may have to press the accross button a few times to turn the volume up...

When you have turned the volume up save the settings or press the back button then exit

Alternitivly your problem may be connections...

Assuming you are connecting via a scart lead firstly ensure you have put this into the correct slot in the FV box (look for a picture of a tv or a square box on the back of your FV box rather than a video)

If your connection is via the three coloured wires (red yellow white) ensure these are placed in to the correct slot in both the tv, and FV box - usually connected at the front on small tvs and on the FV box)

I agree, thats always the problem I have when my scart is not quite it properly.
