Hi
Hello to everyone
I have been following the threads for a long time and this is my first post in this section.
I am amazed by the booty that you are getting from Tesco Clubcard vouchers - and Ihave challeneged myself o be able to afford a holiday for myself, huband and son over the next year.
Can you hep me to understand one part that I am not clear on - if I have an account and my husband does too - can I use the same online order codes e.g. for wine or groceries for both of us? If so, when we receive our vouchers will it be possible to combine themto use towards one holiday or do they have to be towards two different holidays because the vouchers have your name on?
If we can combine them then I think that actually getting a holiday will be 'doable' for us as ifwe could use each 1000 point voucher twice and join the clubcard points together it would mount up quite quickly - i am just worried that we would get the vouchers and not be able to put them together towards a virgin etc holiday
any help is gratefully received
thanks again

I cant speak from experience re using the vouchers but I hope so cos I am doing the same. Yes you can use points on both accounts and I cant see any reason why there should be problem paying in two separate names if those two people are actually going on the holiday.
Somebody else will probably be along soon who has actually done this.
Good luck points collecting. The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.

If you have the same name it should be no problem - but I've bumped this to the top again so maybe someone with actual experience will reply. It is possible to get really good totals even with only one account - we have paid for a Siblu holiday this year entirely with clubcard vouchers and are now saving fot the car hire to go with it! Good luck!!£2 saver club £16 so far!! - it's growing!!! :j

hi thanks for getting back to me

well done to you for paying for your whole holiday on mt T :T0 -
The Tesco Clubcard Deals vouchers I've had in the past, only ever had a surname on - no initials.0

My ex and I merged our cards, it requires a phonecall to clubcard where both of you are present in the room so the csa can speak to you both during the one phone call. We nominated me as the main account holder so all post for the different accounts come to my house. We then asked for more keyfobs which my ex subsequently dished out to his new partner, his mother etc. This means that all of these cards are linked to 1 account and you can have as many different clubcard numbers as you want, all the points are joined together and issued to the main account holder when a clubcard mailing is sent out.
I had managed to get 3700 points on my card using extra points codes but after we merged our cards my total went up to 5000 (he didn't shop at tesco's much) because he had never used a point on his card and now every time he puts petrol in his car or his partner does a shop or his mum does or anybody else that he gave a keyfob to....I get the points!!!:j :j
It also helps when the csa who takes the call makes an error when checking for all unused points and just adds every point you've ever been issued with back on to your card, one week after merging cards my clubcard points balance shot up to 19256, and it has just kept adding to it ever since, I am sooo looking forward to the mailing this week.
Anyway I hope this helps and that you can understand my terrible explanation......
In a nutshell there are loads of ways to get extra points and a phonecall to clubcard asking for advice usually helps too:j CRAZY NUTTER NO 16 :j:T MURPHY'S NO MORE PIES NO 15 :TSince Jan 2007Quidco £294, Not smoking £284, Tesco stamps £32, Wilkos £4Weight loss start date/weight 1st Feb - 15st 10lbToday 12th Mar - 14st 13lbvik6525 you are my inspiration xx0 -

Forgot to add that as long as the people named on the clubcard deals are going on the holiday together then they can also be joined together to pay for the holiday i.e Ms Smith in London and Ms Jones in Manchester want to go on holiday together and each have £200 in clubcard deals, this is fine as they are going on holiday together. Ms Smith and Mr White want to go on holiday but they can not use Ms Jones deals as she is not travelling with them. Yes, you can definately combine vouchers with different names on.I recently redeemed £200 of my vouchers and was £30 short to get myself a new watch at Goldsmiths. I rang the helpline and was told as long as the cards were regsisetered at the same address you could redeem your husbands as well for a 'deal'.
