Tell this to all the SOLD signs springing up all over the place ..... as much as I would want to deny it, property is selling like hot cakes around here now.
Rather depends where you are.
FWIW, Im currently looking and have been told by more than a couple of estate agents that offers are gernerally being accepted at 10% below asking.
That is however in the area of the country Im looking. There are vast differences depending on where you look, and the average cost of housing (compared to the average) in those areas.0 -

Hamish told me they were going up.
Hamish always says they are up. He says he is not a BTL landlord. If he really isn't then I can't understand his obession with rising prices as no other sane person would would actually wish for such high prices for their children and future generations to cope with. Nobody benefits from high house prices except property speculators and 'investors'0
