beware post code lottery is it a scam

when checking my postcode today there was a message saying mail at the top - once opened said i had won $3000 and to ring their london office which appears to be a us number - i smell a rat
so be careful out there:(

If so, the ads at the top are nothing to do with the site - they're bog standard google ones, if you have a website you don't get any choice about who's adverts you get. (I had fun for a while with dating agency ads on a youth group website...) Although you're certainly right about how dodgy that particular advert sounds!

well i won £30 today with the freepostcodelottery! went into my paypal and set up a transfer! i do think alot of them are scams but this one isnt

I too have won with freepostcode lottery and the money was paid immediately into my Paypal account without any problems at all.
