They can't take the money before hand as the price could change esp if buying weighed items0

they take the money on the day the shopping is due, few hours before they load onto vans, so in your case they will ring you and say they have a problem with your card. no money and they won't deliver ithave now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0

They normally take the money once the shopping is completed (in store) prior to delivery as any items not suitable are refunded once returned to store, can you not change the delivery day to Thursday.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0

I've had a call to say there was a problem with my card when the delivery man was waiting outside because he was told to not deliver until payment had gone through. It turned out to be their error so I wasn't too impressed. They won't deliver until your payment has been processed. Unless you have an overdraft I'd cancel the order or reschedule.0

They take payment after/during delivery.
If they "Swap" some items and you decline them, they dont show on your bill.. thats because they remove them during delivery and then you get charged on your account.

If it's not due until tomorrow night you can amend the order. Either cancel it, reduce the price to what you can afford or change the delivery date to another date after your money has gone in.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

Think that must depend on who you shop with, any damaged items I have had on delivery have been refunded in a separate transaction.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0
