Hi,
Couldn't see a thread of this, so just thought I would say that lots of facebook groups have been set up in my local area where you can sell your unwanted stuff.
Much easier than ebay as there are no fees involved and most of the time no hassle either!
I have been clearing out my childrens toys in preparation for Christmas and have made about £30 in 2 weeks.
I have either had people come to my house to collect stuff or I have met them outside the local supermarket.
Alternatively if you don't like the sound of meeting complete strangers then one Mum at my childrens school set up a private group where only parents of the school can join and then we can hand things over in the school playground!
So it might be worth having a look in your local area and hopefully get a few extra pennies!
HTH Someone!

I love it when items can be passed on whether free through the freecycling network or sold through facebook pages or ebay its all items that won't be ending up in landfill for a while yet which has to be good news. :j

I have just discovered one in my area and have sold unwanted items I don't want to list on Ebay because they're too big to bother with P&P. I have also met people who know people I know so expanded my friends as well.Mother of the Bride diet started 2nd Jan 2013! :T0

Is this a page that you set up or a completely separate profile on FB ? do you add in photos to the listings ? I am totally fed up of Ebay so would like to try something different but don't drive so cannot do a carboot.0

Someone usually sets up the group but some FB users have set up their own selling page and linked to it on the main selling groups.Competition Wins:
