Good news, inflation down.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15733539

Some welcome news just announced that inflation has dropped from the horrendous level of 5.2% to 5% for October.

Great, everything is cheaper. :rotfl:

  • As expected, although only a small decrease at this point, I believe it will continue to fall now for the rest of this year and into next.

Wonderful! What will we do with all the extra money that we'll have in our pockets?

    Care to explain.

Lol - I hope you understand that prices are NOT cheaper if inflation is lower. I hope you realise that prices are only cheaper if it's a DEFLATION.

If not - now you do. Reread the article carefully.

"Falls in the price of food, air transport and fuel helped to push the inflation rate lower. [cont'd]...."

It's still increasing only this month it's increased to 5% instead of 5.2%

However the 'RATE' of increase in inflation has decreased this month.

Thanks for explaining it to him. I'm horrified at the level of financial intellect of the bears. No wonder they rent.
