                    Hello,
I have just applied for a job at Asda (think it is on checkouts but Christmas temp so no sure) Does anyone know what they pay per hour - applied via JobCentrePlus which just said "meets national min wage" - I am on min wage at the moment and thought that maybe someone like Asda might pay a bit more?

I doubt it will be anymore than the minimum wage as Asda rely on a part time non unionised workforce.0

Asda tend to pay a little over NWM and under 18's are paid the same rate as the adults.
(Looking at my research yesterday for the same question!)0 -
For the first twelve weeks (probation or seasonal contract) last year they were paying £6.1588 per hour. After 12 weeks I think it went up to £6.28 for day shift.0
