somehow i sort of migrated from greenfingers to os - and i never looked at that thread much as i thought it was about daydreams etc - lovl
maybe i should go and have another look too - although would not be able to manage to read through the whole thread.
they are usually very relaxed in greenfingers - so i doubt they would mind me skipping a bit (and ummm - butting in - hopefully)
saving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk

just join right in. No one expects you to read the whole thread. We are a good band of people, IMO. Initially it was saving for the '''day dream'' or one day owning, some poeple will always dream, others have bought, and some are buying now, others still saving or the dream is slightly different.
Its about gardening and livestock, and the woes of self build/renovation. Grassland management, livestock management, living in caravans, choosing veg. Its about small victories, and terrible failures...this summer saw one poor darling who is an OSer as well as a dreamer..her productive garden was just taken right out by a storm.
Like small holding, its hard to say where the busines slife ends and the personal begins, and its also extremely useful to learn how others support the dreams, and what changes for all of us, and how we get over the different challanges of different plots of land, or searches for plots of land.0 -
