I think the worst advert so far is the Littlewoods one. The main message of it seemed to be that the only way to show your love for your children is to get in debt buying them branded tat.
totally agree with this, me and OH were totally disgusted with this ad and not just cos the kids are so repulsive in it- whatever happened to the idea that Father Christmas brings your toys if you are good? this ad is just putting across that mum has to buy them (and buy them for EVERYONE too!). commercialism at it's worst i think.Car Boot Queen!!
Clothes Golden Rule: Never pay full price unless it is an utter bargain in the first place!
Sales, boots, charity shops, ebay- why would anyone ever pay full price for anything??!0 -
OMG....the Iron Bru and is brilliant!! thanks for sharing that one!! I got proper emotional with the John Lewis advert...it the way that he so obviously wrapped the present himself.x“Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff.”0
