Ideas for a Jungle theme party??

Hi all,

I wonder if you could give me any ideas for a jungle themed party for my DS next month. He will be three and has asked for a jungle theme but i'm a bit stuck for idea at the moment. Don't want to spend a fortune.

For a start has anyone seen any jungle party stuff in any of the supermarkets? Have tried tesco's but they don't do it.

All ideas are greatly appreciated!!!

Kel

If you can stretch to it, get some face paints - dead easy to do a tiger or lion - and kids will love it :)

Hang some green crepe paper in doorways & cut into strips like those things you hang in doorways in summer to keep out the flies.

See if anyone you know owns a pet lizard or snake or tarantula they could bring along for a meet the creature session ()

Colour paper plates into tiger face masks

Play "in the jungle" for musical statues
Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!

what about making tails/elephant trunks out of scrunched up newspaper/old clothes and coloured tights?

or this site might give you ideas and then you can make them yourself
