  • Hi!

I'd like to join too :)

Started 2011 with good intentions but things got a wee bit out of hand in the spring for one reason and another so our finances really weren't at the top of the agenda. Now any good we did is all un-done :(

    So! 2012 we mean business!!

You can download Open Office for free which is an open-source version of Microsoft Office. Your spreadsheet will work fine using this ;)

    Hi Natlie!
    Many thanks for the links!
I am going to try the cloth nappies (although when I mention this to women who've recently had babies they have all hinted that it's easier said than done!).

I hadn't heard of the cloth wipes though and will definitely check them out. Many thanks for the tip - I think I'm well on the way to frugality already!

Looking forward for another year of frugal living - I haven't posted in the last year on this thread, but have found it very interesting and useful from the sidelines!

thats ok, wipes are on offer at the mo, tey save you about £280 I dont find the nappies hard to use we are using fuzzibunz pocket nappies

Thanks Frugaldom! :) I occasionally have a look at your blog to see how you're getting on. It's brilliant how self-sufficient you are. :T
