Newly engaged and found The dress!!

Hiya everyone,

I got engaged a few weeks ago :j and went looking for a dress online initially, found THE ONE and then found a shop that stocked it. I went to try it on on Saturday and confirmed its the one for me!!!! I love it!

So what i have been doing is trying to find one 2nd hand as i can't bring myself to spend £846 on dress. OH is happy to pay this but i would be happier to pay less hehe.

Can anyone be so kind as to give me a list of website where people sell their dresses after wedding? I have been checking ebay, preloved, gumtree and sellmydress so far.

Thanks ladies!
kx

You could ask in the shop if they will sell it as a sample? Mine is an ex-sample and I got it for 50% off. It is still expensive, but hey ho, it's the dress I want and I don't have to wait for it to be delivered!

Unfortunately they have just had a sale Sugarwalsh, and the sample was a size 14 and i am a 10, the rest could be taken in but i'd need a miracle to fill the bust!! Well done on your bargain dress and always good to not have to wait ages for delivery.

@Jewelleryfan, i think thats the site i meant and not sellmydress.com. I should start bookmarking them i think!

There is a great one https://www.sellmyweddingdress.co.uk which is the one I thought you meant. It also sells veils, bridemaids and tiaras etc
