Hello
found this website yesterday and i am hooked! i been reading all the posts and its given me the courage to finally fess up to myself, i am in debt and i just keep burying my head in the sand
i have always been too embarrassed to actually write down what i owe and i felt stupid for getting myself into this mess and also that people would judge me
but that attitude isnt going to get me anywhere so i am finally going to put it out there and make a start on getting rid of what i owe!

thanks peeps, feel like a load has been lifted by just admitting it to myself, i am due a bonus at work at the end of this month, i am just not sure what to pay it towards, whether i use it towards my overdraft or CC, the loan i have is crippling me its £278 a month for the next two and half years, i have looked at taking out a new loan just to reduce the payments but not sure if thats a good idead or not

Hi Sal, Well done for taking your first steps! I'm new here to and I can promise you don't feel as embarrassed as I do! I've just bared all and admitted to a shed load of unpaid debt dating back 7 years. I'm so ashamed, but after stalking this site unregistered for a couple of years, I now felt it was time to admit the wicked truth. I too feel much better

Probably not. Post a statement of affairs and let's have a closer look. Format for mse and remove any links before cutting and pasting.0 -
