Ordered through NPower link on Monday, received email with delivery date blank but insulation turned up on Wednesday on Buildcentre transport however delivery paperwork shows £3 plus vat delivery charge. This charge was not on the authorize payment page or mentioned on the email. Bit cheeky I thought.
Still a good deal though and I did get the max amount allowed although even that will only cover around two thirds of the loft.0 -
Just checked my delivery notice as my daughter signed for it. No delivery charge - not sure if that's due to only 12 rolls or not?
9/12 are in the loft now.... 3 more to go. We'll be doing it in the new year as we need to clear it out to be able to lay it. :rotfl: I think it might insulate it enough in the packaging. We're in a 3 bed semi so went off the average....I think our house might be smaller than average. :eek:You have to start to finish.

3 of us spent all day laying this today. My arithmatic is suspect as it looks like I'll only need perhaps 3 more rolls to completely cover the loft. The unfinished area is boarded anyway so I need to build up some kind of frame before I can further insulate under the boards.
Got to say this has been a cracking deal and I've no complaints with the goods or the service despite the 'free delivery' not actually being free :rotfl:.0 -
well 8am saturday morning and a knock at the door, lorry parked outside. He crained 25 rolls onto the front lawn then I put them up in the loft! Still waiting to fit but least they're up there lol!0

Just wish they / the government , would do some offers on boilers. I really want to change ours , but being quoted around £2,000 for the job to be done. We did qualify for the Warm Front deal about a year ago, but i was put off them by all the bad press and reviews.0
