Asda temporary work

I went along to Asda Magic session the other day and she said at the session that she would ring 2 days later. If she did not ring, she said then it was good news (just aslong as we didn't receive an email).

I rang today as I hadn't heard anything. I was told she hadn't looked through my folder so I had to wait alittle longer. She rang back saying she had emailed me. When I looked through the email, it basically said "you have great skills, and we would love you to work for us, however the not so good news is that we don't have any jobs at the minute, but you are put on hold".

This thread seems abit of a rant (which I guess it is) but employers know now that they can just take the mickey, as so many people want jobs. I was rest assured when I rang her back that she would ring, when another job arises, but due to my experiences lately, I wont hold my breath.
