For those who don't know, Wenger bags are really good! I've a Wenger Swissgear backpack and it's one of the best bags I've ever had.

Last year it was a feenzy on the Amazon and also on here. I think MSE actually went "down" for a while because of the number of people posting. Strange how it's so quiet this year.

I was thinking it's Peter Jones off of Dragons Den?

Sorry to bring back a conversation that was from this morning (loads of pages ago lol)

There is a Peter Jones shop in London that is nothing to do with Peter Jones the entrepreneur. I assumed the socks were to do with that shop.

Edit: Apparently not as the amazon page has the dragon's picture on it.

May be because the offers arent exactly amazing. Last year many were gone in seconds and you couldnt get a look in. This year is completely different.
I am very underwhelmed by both products and prices.

I have never bought yankee candles before but if they were to come up I might treat myself to some to use over christmas, would be nice extra touch

Jodie, they smell really lovely. You can sometimes buy them reduced in Home Bargains.

I was looking at that logitech HD webcam (up at 3.30pm) but then thought "what's the point?" unless the other person has a decent connection, they aren't going to see the difference anyway. Also if anyone is planning to use it with Skype, you can often get better discounts direct from them for logitech gear.

The only thing this is good for is if you are *Cough* "Contributing" *Cough* to a late night phone in service :rotfl:

NOT that I would suggest anyone does this here;)

I may get my Mankini out of storage, buy one and prance around my bed with a phone in my hand :rotfl: very MSE ;)
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

Oh, I don't know about that store but the socks were the Dragon's Den Peter Jones...if you scroll down on the page it has his picture!!
  • Yankee candles have a natural 'real' aroma when they burn....I find the cheaper imitations smell synthetic and overpowering, some even give me headaches :(

'I have received so many questions and comments about my stripy socks that I have decided to launch my own range. They are a great way to add a bit of colour and style to your look. The socks are made from high quality mercerised cotton and come in two sizes 7-10 and 11-14. The collection is available in a number of high street retailers and online at www.hjhall.com'
