The Saints Row Platinum Pack is coming up in half an hour. Please take my advice - Avoid Avoid Avoid!!
For £69.99 you get the pre-order content game (worth about £35 currently), a mediocre instrumental soundtrack in a cardboard sleeve and the piece de resistance - a set of poorly made plastic headphones. Not a headset, you cannot use it with XBox Live or the Playstation Network, just basic headphones with a voice changer thingy if want to stalk someone via your smartphone:D You have to twist off the logo'd part of the headphone to put batteries in it and it would inevitably snap sooner or later, plus there are tiny stiff buttons to turn it off/on/use with smartphone, and the volume control is on the cable under your chin so you can't easily see which button is which. The sound quality is tinny and in my case within two minutes the sound was skipping from the left to right headphone.
You'd essentially be paying £35 for the game and £35 for a terrible pair of market stall quality headphones.
So if you go for it don't say you weren't warned!0 -
now lets hope amazon has an offer on carpet next0
