Does it tell you in advance what is coming up or do you have to wait until it appears and then gives you 15mins to buy? Just wondering do you just have to stay logged on all day or not ?
Thanks again0 -

These are some of tomorrow's deals, according to the email I got0 -
I got hardly anything last year. Everything was bought as soon as I clicked on something. This year they are only giving us 15 minutes to pay for our items. It was much longer than this last year.
Yes, but I think the idea is it's supposed to be fairer. I'll admit to practising a little last year & ended up with some items I didn't want & more or less immediately discarded. I managed to get the kitchenaid in the end, but the cookery books & kipling bags eluded me. No chance either with the xbox.:D
This time though there is a wait list so if anyone grabs something they decide they don't want to pay for this time around, it will go back into the pool I hope so some-one on the wait list stands a chance rather than it being lost altogether like last time around.0 -

How I remember it is like this. You log in to amazon (dont for get to log in or you wont get any deals in time) and on the home page it will advertise Black Friday. It will tell you some of the deals coming up throughout the day but not all, instead it will give a clue for some of them. Next to each deal was a little timer (once the deal was an hour away) counting down the minutes until it starts, as soon as it gets to around 3 seconds its time to start clicking as quick as you can on the deal you want (there were usually between 3 and 6 deals on at once and at different times throughout the day, so for example 4 deals at 9am, another 4 at 12, maybe 6 deals at 3pm and so on). If you were successful and got the item it took you to payment page or showed up in your basket, if not you would see either a timer which means your in a queue (incase anyone that got the item changes their mind) or a sorry message saying that you've been unsuccesful. They advertise at the end of each day what will be on the next day and during the week to.
As far as prices go some things were good and others not that much of a bargain. The bath bomb sets were half their usual price, wii was £50, zhu zhu's were £5, razor scooter was £200 -
I wish they would have these sort of things starting at the weekend I get no chance with work.
I agree - so many times I want to but tickets to gigs and need to arrange time to do it. My new employers are far more understanding, but due to past issues I always feel guilty!! Always made my time up and let then know what I was doing!!ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷0 -
