do amazon take the money straight away or will they take it first thing tomorrow morning? (i have a visa electron if that makes any difference)
i have bought a few things today and have my eye on a few more but don't get paid until tomorrow
As far as I understand, Amazon charge your cc straight away, you will see it as a debt on your cc but possibly, the bank will process the payment within 1 day or 2. I'm not an expert though, that's what usually happens with my cc, so take it with a pinch of salt.
I would recommend you to inquire with your bank...0 -

Amazon only charge the card when the order status moves from "not yet dispatched" to "dispatching soon". How long this takes depends on the delivery option chosen generally0 -
The non-existent Pannie TV is back at 9pm. I recall it being discounted to £249.99 if this helps anyone.0

Just tried to buy 2 watches and it charged me full price for them and by the time I tried to go back and sort it was told that I had run out of time. Don't think I'll bother in future life is too short for this hassle with impulse buys that I probably don't need. Amazon's loss not mine.0

Sorry if this is a silly question, but how do you find out what's coming up tomorrow?0

Anyone concerned about the lego not arriving until after Christmas... mine says dispatching soon!
Might be worth checking your accounts.0 -

Items show as full price when you go to checkout but show the correct discounted price on the final screen0 -

They do "check" with your bank as you checkout but do not officially charge until dispatch. But the money will be ring fenced at that "check" I have cancelled some orders prior to dispatch yet the money is showing as taken from my balance, it will take a couple of days to update correctly. Hope this helps.Save 8k in 2013: Member #100
