Checked our budget, and we're paying Lovefilm £8.16/month and only getting 4 DVDs a month, 2 at a time. Shall cancel that for the next six months now!
  • I have LoveFilm, and I'm currently on a one month trial which I have every intention of cancelling. But we've really been enjoying it; we've seen Tangled, Inception, Outnumbered series 3... all those things I'd probably have bought when I got round to it, plus a gift voucher too. So I *might* keep the new one for us, or it could be a present; it feels like a pretty good present too. It's the same as their £9.99 monthly offering I think. We have the one including games on the trial, but have not actually got any games out yet.
Make £2023 in 2023: (all decluttering), current total £2860 me, £330 for friends & family, £468 charity donations.
  • Yay! I got the camera! It was a great deal especially since my old Canon just broke. I am very happy but now very poor!
  • Got the bottles :D
    :coffee:
  • I note that the 21 Famous Five books are being offered for £30 - claiming that they are usually sold at £105.

Except there's another Amazon page where the usual price is £35.

    Misleading or what?

Or you could get the first 10 for £9.99 from the Book People!

I was tempted but checked our account and noticed we have paid up front until July next year. I am assuming this deal would be of no benefit to me unless I wanted extra discs?
  • I still really, really like these Bodum mugs.

    I must resist.
  • Okay, got the LoveFilm deal. If I can't use it for myself I think I will be able to give it to somebody else as a gift and it has such a long expiry on it that it should be okay. Also got the Skullcandy headphones, I hope they are okay.

Well I got the lovefilm, and got one for my mum too. Still don't really get it, not sure if I am just going to get an email with a code or they're going to send me a gift card as it does have a delivery expected date on the order status.
  • What on earth am i doing wrong?

I signed in, waited for fringe and as soon as the price popped up i added it to my basket ath the lighning price.
Go to checkout and it asks me to sign in again. So i sign in again and then when i go through the checkout process again Fringe comes up at the normal price :(

Any ideas on what i am doing wrong.
