Re the Joseph Joseph scales, I love everything Joseph Joseph but I'm not convinced by these. The top is curved so you can't sit your own bowl/saucepan on it and measure anything into it. There are also review comments about the base of the grey ones (the colour in Black Friday) being plasticky.

I've had these scales for years and they're great - good degree of accuracy, easy to wipe clean, relatively smart looking:

I will however sing the praises of the Joseph Joseph elevate utensils (not tried the spatulas though). Such a simple idea - spoons/slices where the head is raised when it's laying down so you don't get mess on your worktop from your bolognese-coated spoon.
