I can't believe people actually watch Downton Abbey let alone hand over money for a box set! Nothing for me on the first round and as above, the prices don't seam that great.
Hopefully it's a bad start with better things to come!0 -
got the hoover and downton abbey in my basket! deleted downton abbey though, getting the hoover! ooo this might turn out to be an epensive week!0

Why click then? You could be stopping people who genuinely want these items from being able to buy them.
Didn't you say you hadn't even heard of Downton?
Because i didnt know thats what it was going to be and so clicked all 3 as soon as it hot 0 seconds to see how easy it was to get them, i deleted them straight away, I shall now only click for something I want0 -
5 minutes after the deals went "live" there is still stock! Just a bit different to last year!
The Downton blu-ray & book set is a very good price, elsewhere the book is £9 or £10 & the box set is around £40 on it's own (although Amazon have them for £40 for the set). I imagine you could always split it into two christmas gifts too!0 -

Really wanted to buy Downton Abbey for my Mum, but I just need normal DVD's - which are selling for £23.97 on Amazon... Shall I get Blueray + book or not?0

*sigh*
Having spent a stupid amount of time on this Amazon Black Friday week thing last year, I had decided that I wasn't going to do the same this year and so have ignored all threads about it.
Until this morning. Curiosity got the better of me.
I now have this thread open in a seperate tab to the rest of my MSE browing - am refreshing it madly - and loving working out what the clues are going to end up being over on Amazon.
....and excitedly waiting for the Kipling bags to come up.Pretty much failed on the ignoring it plan
