Amazon don't need to do this, they're running a business. They can't give away Nintendo Wii's for £1 and and even if they did they'd only be able to give away 1 or 2 and then you'd complain that you didnt get it!
It's just a bit of fun before xmas and with any luck you'll get a couple of xmas pressies a bit cheaper than u would elsewhere. This year everyone has a chance to save a few quid and there's no frustration when u miss out on a TV with a unrealistic 90% off RRP!

Well my purchases today were vax Hoover (we were in need of a new Hoover so a useful deal for us), mortal instruments (pressie for friend and I just know she will love it and its a change from the norm if smellies) and last but not least a lightbulb (hate the dull pinky/Orange tinged lighting in my living room so hopefully this will brighten things up a little).

Im rather pleased, at least this year I've got things I need rather than getting caught up in the excitement and buying things for the sake of it.

totally agree,

last year there was soooooo many moaning they didn't win something, its only just started so who knows whats going to be on offer.

i enjoy it, it's a bit of fun and like others have said there have been some good deals. I brought the wii game driver for £10.37 i am really pleased with it as the cheapest i've seen is £14.95.

It is essential that I get Saints Row. I decided that my mission for tomorrow is Saints Row. OH wants it for xmas.
However, if I find out that the 50"TV has been purchased by the OH I will confiscate the xbox.......

We picked up the Green Lantern DVD. Was on our list of films to see so at least it's on its way. Would of loved the cookbooks, but at the same time it is dead simple to get some of my oldies to buy me the books for xmas. It did cross my mind to buy the books and just ask for the money, but that kinda spoile xmas..... Just wanted to 'save'...... oh dear.....

OH and I waited for the 9pm countdown and then the leopard print popped up. All OH said was "Not a bad price for a bra". As you can guess we didn't buy any of the undiebums.....
