Anyone know of any working from home jobs using a PC?

Pretty much the question is in the title, nnyone know of any working from home jobs using a PC in the UK?

    It depends what you want to do and what your qualifications are really! For example there are a lot of jobs in medical writing which involve working from home using a PC, but unless you are qualified then that's not much use. I think perhaps a few more details might get you some more detailed responses.

    An old friend of mine has done editing when in between jobs. Not sure of the qualifcations required though.

    Pick high value jobs you can do and WORK FAST!

    Remember you're competing with Asia, so jobs that require British English, or things to do with UK knowledge will be better bets that 'copy and paste 3 links' or whatever

    Where are they? Have never come across anything like that and it would be right up my street - provided it had a social sciences/psychology slant. If you look on Cochrane reviews it is considered medical :)

  • Some call centres do home working but you need a dedicated office 'area'. They have a phone line installed and hook you up to their network over a WAN with router, phone and a terminal.

    I signed up to jobs.Trovit.co.uk which seems to send me lots of ads for medical writers - many of them require medical degrees, PhDs or qualifications in pharmacology but there seems to be a fair amount of work out there. Good luck!
