Wow!! I love your button roof, and the icing sugar! I did my first gingerbread house last year and cant wait to do this years, where is your kit from?
Mine was a dr. Oetker 1.99 job!! lol, but took hours and hours of christmassy fun!!
Im doing 2 this year, one for me and one for the family I gave this one to...
Its not the best pic, its a screen shot from some video I took of it whilst I was making it, I taped the whole thing, I think its about 6 hours long! heeheeheeback to comping after a 2 year break!! Mission… to win a gift for all my family for Christmas!0 -

I made my first gingerbread house last year and you've inspired me to do a button roof this year - and I love the star shaped trees. It is hard to see it get destroyed but at least people enjoy it - if I lived in the UK, I would make one for my nephew and friends kids as presents too. Which gingerbread recipe did you use? The one I used last year was really hard so was looking for a slightly softer one.
