Well, I did try it on before I took it back; my wrists are not the slenderest (elasticated bracelets always seem to not have enough beads on when on me!) but it fitted snugly but OK.

I got one; it was delivered today. I'm afraid it wasn't to my taste at all, although I thought it looked good on the website. I took it straight back to the nearest store for a refund. So if anyone's feeling disappointed that they missed out, IMHO you didn't!
I have actually just got home and opened mine and I am disappointed too. It doesn't look as good as it did on the website..
