Removing Payday Loans

Hi Guys,

I was in a bit of a sticky situation and got caught with Payday loans.... take another one cause your skint from paying the last one.

Anyway I have had 4 from PDUK over the past year - all of which were paid in full and on time. However looking at my credit report they look less than appealing.

Just wondering if there was any advice on ways I could have them removed. I have tried writing to PDUK to ask them to remove them - as it does them no harm as they are marked green and satisfied.

Thanks in advance

  • Not sure how to remove them. I believe that PDUK appear on experian, not equifax. So if you do need to apply for anything then you could try to use a lender that just searches equifax. there is a thread on here somewhere that lists who uses who, but can't remember where.

  • If the entrie are correct you can't remove them, as the purpose of a credit report is to show your past history. You can't pick and choose what is shown on your credit report as people would potentially abuse it to make their credit reports look better than they actually are.
