Harrington Brooks not paying all my debts?

Hi All,
I've been with Harrington Brooks for a number of years now to try and manage my debts. This seems to have been going ok, we haven't heard from our creditors for a long time, not being chased by debt collectors etc.
However, I got an alert a couple of days ago from Experian saying that a credit check had been performed, I logged in to see who it was and it was just to do with insurance quotes. However, I noticed straight away that my credit score had gone from "good" to "very poor". Generally each time I've logged in its flicked between "satisfactory" and "good", but has never been "very poor".
When I looked into it, HFC bank had updated my report to say I've missed 6 payments. I don't understand this as Harrington Brooks have been dealing with the HFC account since I started with them, why all of a sudden are they saying they haven't been receiving payments.
I upped my payments to Harrington Brooks earlier this year from £120 - £150 per month, so if anything they should be getting more.
Would this suggest that Harrington Brooks have stopped paying them for some reason. I've got a similar thing with Barclaycard and I'm beginning to wonder whether Harrington Brooks are actually paying my debts afterall, and what they are actually doing with my money.
They've been chasing me up recently over an IVA application - they've been worse than the creditors for harrassing me over it in fact (I kept telling them that I've just moved, I need to sort out the paperwork and other stuff, I do want to go ahead with it but I need to find the required paperwork and ensure I can afford it before I go ahead, but they were phoning almost daily pressing me to send the forms back). However, with this, I'm not sure I want to go ahead with it now, I can't be sure that they are actually going to give the money to the creditors - I could end up in an even bigger mess if the creditors don't get paid after agreeing to an IVA.
I've been in a queue on their phone system for over 30 minutes now and am not hopeful of getting through. When we do speak to them we keep asking for statements of the accounts, including what we've got left to pay, but despite saying they'll send it out we never receive it. Are they trying to hide something?
EDIT: I've given up waiting on the phone after nearly an hour, its quite obvious they're not going to answer.

I would complain to them, from the off, l would report them to trading standards if you already asked for a statements etc.
Not doubting your words, can you prove that you sent them xxx£xxx, did you get a receipt for those payments
I would get in touch with Payplan or cccs, whom will help you to deal with your debts and creditors..0 -
I regret there has been a few examples lately of these type of companys not paying. If you can please take Lindann's advise & talk to payplan or cccs.
Try googling HB, its quite concerningTallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!0 -
I have been with Harrington brooks for 5 years and I am left speechless!! I called them 3 days ago for a balance up date which was in the region of £1400. I called bcd today to check on a creditor and ask for my balance which is a lot lot lot more. What the hell . So upsetting0

l would go with the cccs or payplan, without fail. l would ensure that you get all the proof that you have paid through harrington brooks. Then l contact creditors stating that you found the above non payment. I would also ask if they can freeze their interest and charges. Then report the H B to trading standards for non payment of debts, as you are using their services etc.. Just think that all those payments could or might of paid off the debt.. good luck0

I suggest you email and ask what the hell is going on, once you know payments have been made by you and then onto your creditors then cancel the DD so they do not get any more money from you and say it is a cancelation fee as most of these mickey mouse companys tend to do, then move to the CCCS0 -
Try and get away from this company as soon as possible. I know it's a stressful thought but really, why pay them to provide something that the charity CCCS provide for free.
You need to complain too - a lot - and look at whether you need to take the complaints further.0
