Hi, we have been out for a nice meal today to celebrate Hubby's birthday.
We went to a Brewers Fayre,and me, being a MSE kinda girl, brought along a voucher for 1050 extra points. I gave this and ny nectar card to him to pay and when we got home just now i asked if there was any problem using the voucher (as it was the first time) and he said he "forgot" to hand it over!!!

Any one know if its too late to do anything? we do of course have our receipt, and it does show the nectar card was presented, but no points at all have been added!!! It shows points 0.00.

ARRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

That's really odd as your points from money spent at the meal should at least have been added.
I know it is a little naughty but I would contact Brewers Fayre and tell them what you purchased and ask why your coupon was not eligible!!! Pretend you handed it over but were given it back. Of course do not get anyone in trouble but imply it is their tills. No doubt you will get the points added with inconvenience points or maybe a voucher in the post!!!

I went on holiday & went out for a meal in Brewers Fayre, when I got home a couple of days later there was a mailing from Nectar with a bonus points voucher in it for Brewers Fayre.

I phoned the place where I had my meal, told them I had forgotten to give the voucher in, the VERY kind lady just asked me for the details on the receipt, so she could bring up the details & then added the points on. :j

I was over 200 miles from the actual Brewers Fayre that I had gone in, so distance is no object

Reminds me of the time my DP was trying to be helpfull by 'tidying up' - he had only gone and put about 6 copies of the Mail in the recycling box - complete with the £4 Book vouchers still attached! :eek: :mad: :rolleyes:

To make matters worse the recycling box had been emptied that day! I actually cried over it

A lady I used to work with put her nectar vouchers out with the recycling by accident. A few hundred pounds worth - she never did it again always spent the vouchers as she earnt them.
