Virgin Media Default - advice needed

Hi,
I posted a while ago that upon receiving my Equifax credit file there is a default from Virgin Media dated 2008.
I queried this and was informed I owed £77. Following advice I sent off the SAR (?) letter and a £10 postal order. Today I received a letter saying:
We have investigated your credit file and contact Equifax to remove any negative data from your credit file involving Virgin Media
Brilliant!! However, what I want to know is can I now request my £10 back as that was payment for proof of the debt, copy of the default notice etc. which has obviously not been provided.
Any advice appreciated, thanks

you could tryDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

if you had to do that to prove the default wasnt yours and get it removed then they sjould refund you the £10. will probably cost you that in time, phone calls and letters so probably not worth going to great effort over.0

Getting the default removed from your file for a tenner was well worth the money and will save you hundreds of pounds and a great deal of hassle in the future.
Just do this :j:j:j and move on smiling smugly.
