I couldn't find an oilcloth I liked, so I used some cheap fabric I love and also some plain plastic table cloth fabric; the clear kind. I got it from The Range.

I did mine Friday night, took me an hour (though I'd already cut the fabric), mine were hard seats with foam and I stapled them on. They look lovely in a blue spotty oilcoth type stuff I got from the Range for a few quid a metre. Easy peasy and now wipe clean!

was hoping to staple them to the wood underneath

the seat pads are 34x39 so i can get 2 from a square metre cant i? still alot cheaper than buying 6 chairs

I do mine on a regular basis, when I fancy a change.

I think I'm right, but wouldn't you get 4 from a square metre?

I don't know whether you could save a little on tuck in but you might be able to get 3 from a width and then you'd only need to buy 80 cm length. That's assuming it's metre wide fabric, many are wider.
  • i meant 4duh lol..i wanted to make sure i had plenty anyway incase i made a mistake
