Offset Mortgage with the Scottish Widow via London & Country

Hi again

Spoke to L&C and they offered me the above.

I think the rate is 5.55 for 3 years but as it's a remortgage there are no charges what so ever.

Also no fees to move away after 3 years.

ANyone have anyexperience / comment about the Scottish W?

Scottish Widows are well respected, part of the Lloyds TSB/Cheltenham & Gloucester group. Their mainstream rates are not usually the absolute best, but they are particularly strong on 'professional' mortgages, i.e. targeting young professional with high LTV and earnings multiples.

I've not used them that much myself, but I use Lloyds TSB/C&G and find them excellent in terms of service and good to deal with.

This is my first remortgage and don't have that much experience.

I've gone with L&C as per Martins article and this is what they suggested.
