I haven't had these for years, but I used to love them. I notice that they are currently £1 for 712g in Tesco's at the moment, which seems a good price. BUT I'm wondering whether they are still nice to eat.So many things seem to taste differently these days. Obviously you don't know how I remember them tasting, I was just wondering what others think of them now?

Yes Emu have stocked up. Curious statement on the packet."You asked for more sauce, you got it".
So more sauce less meat. But still good value £1. Makes three individual meals.Normally cook everything in a pressure cooker, but these Faggots fall apart, so oven job. 30 mins.

I stopped eating them from the local butcher, years ago, when they reached 34p each.
Now about half that. What inflation !!!

perhaps I am a bit old - but I remember when Brains faggots were sort of 'round'. I bought some for Oh this week - and they were round, but flat! like little flat burgers! and they were very soft. The gravy tasted the same though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw - I bought them cos OH was having a memory lane moment - Brains Faggots with Processed peas!
He was disapointed - he said the gravy was the same but the faggots ...............er NOT!
