Boots No 17 Glitch...

Hi! First post/thread so please be gentle if any of this is wrong/already posted (i did search!)

I went to boots today to buy some foundation and checked the advantage card machine, it gave me a printout for a free 'Hide and Chic brightening concealer' by No17.

I went to the No17 section and the foundation (which is pretty good when i've used it before) 'Skin perfecting' was £5.69 with two pound off, so £3.69.

There was also a free gift when you buy any two No17 products, a 'femme noir' set which includes a lipgloss, liquid eyeliner and a black/white/grey eyeshadow palette.

I picked up a mascara 'Waterproof' (was the only wording written on it, think it was a standard No17 brand one) to qualify for the free gift, and also the concealer.

When i paid this happened on the reciept (im typing this esactly as written as i cant upload a pic at the moment!)

I think the No17 range is on 342 as well so you pay for the first 2 then mascara free and you had coupon for conceler so that would be free as well and the other set you got was free when buying 2 items so you just end up paying for the foundation

You can mix it with extra points, too:

100 points when you buy any 17 product coupon is in the back of the November/December boots mag, and check the acm, there are usually other coupons on 17 you could use with this.

I think this will only work if you buy an item for less than £4.99 (the free gift price)

Because the till gives you cheapest item free so, plus the free gift is free. So make sure the free gift isn't your cheapest item otherwise I don't think this would work

I picked it up in my local the other day and then a sa swooped over and took it from me saying I couldn't have it as the offer had finished. I was really miffed as it was exactly what i was looking for

I was in Boots yesterday, and the Femme Noir offer had definitely finished.

The Femme Noir finished 1st Nov but I did see in one of my stores the otherday. Just depends whether staff have removed them from the shelves or not.
