Car tax
Car insurance
Car MOT
Petrol
Clothes
Health/life insurance
Emergencies
Brithday/christmas cards/gifts
Property maintenance
And dont forget the purchasing costs, eg £899 for mortgage, stamp duty, solicitors costs, all of which could easily top £3K-£4K.
