Debt diary by Poppy39 - unorganised, wasteful and wanting to change!

Right, here goes...
I had my light bulb moment last week - but then quickly turned off the light switch and am waiting until I have a free day (Sunday) to turn it back on and get really, really sorted.
I have done a budget of sorts and it's all looking quite scary. Initial debt free date was 2014 but I know I've missed a few bits and pieces so need to double check it.
On Sunday I'll be starting a spending diary (was very bad and bought stuff I didn't really, really need today as I knew I couldn't buy it next week. Must get out of that habit!). I'm also planning on leaving all my credit cards at home from next week - now that will be really hard!! I'm not sure I'll be able to do it but I will try.
I have some success with Abbey and they've agreed to stop all charges and interest on my CC with them. I was wondering if I should be very bad and spend the remaining £400 credit I have on my Debenhams card (buying birthday and Christmas presents), and then contact them to ask them to freeze the interest etc... ? Very naughty but they've earned thousands from me in the last few years so is it THAT bad...? And what if they don't agree to stop interest and charges? Mmmm, not sure what to do.
Anyway, I'm sort of looking forward to Sunday and getting sorted once and for all. I've applied for a basic bank account as I have so many DD's and SO's coming out from my current account it is all a bit confusing. I can't just close my current account though as I've stupidly got my personal and business account with the same bank. This also means I have to keep up to date with my CC with them or they do have the option of stealing from my business account (which is a partnership so wouldn't be fair!).
Will be posting very regularly so please feel free to ignore my rantings! I just feel this will be a way of keeping me on track.

Agreed, or you wouldn't want to add another £400 to your debt.0
