JSA Sanctions for not attending an interview

If you noticed my other post about a suspicious interview invite and possible interview for a full time job.
Job A - 10 hours a week, suspicious circumstances surrounding invite to interview, min wage. Interview is on Mon 14th 230pm
Job B - 40 Hours a week, better pay, interview Mon 14th 3pm.
If I go to Job B and cancel Job A interview could I be sanctioned for not attending the interview with Job A?

Well unless you have a time machine you can't attend both within 30 minutes of each other, even they would have to realise that.
You have already posted in another thread how you are dubious about the first one - was that through them? unlike agencies I don't think that they go and vett roles that come through.
Personally I would go for the second one, try to rearange the first one, do your best with the second one and fingers crossed you get offered it.0 -

Job A was advertised through the Jobcentre, I wasn't matched to it. It is only written in my book that I applied.
Job B does sound very good and full time takes presidence over 10hours a week where I will only be £5 better off.0 -
Focus on the second one - good luck!0

Just read your other post and I would forget about the first one too. You can't be sanctioned for not going if you are attending an interview for a better job at almost the same time - you're not a time traveller! It's a no-brainer to go for the better job. Good luck!!DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

Just spoke to the Jobcentre as really worried I'd get sanctioned for not attending the 10hour a week interview.
The Jobcentre can not take any action such as sanctions on jobs you don't apply for or attend interviews for unless you were matched to them by an adviser.
So I can now concentrate on the full time job.0
