Updating references at NEXT?

Hi everyone,

I need to update my references as i'm not sure who to put down as the referee on one of my past jobs. I worked at NEXT as a sales consultant but the manager kept changing whilst I was there and I think most of the people who worked there when I did won't be there anymore as retail staff chop and change all the time! I was there from autumn 2007 to summer 2008. I know the name of the woman I was hired by but she worked in the office and didn't know me that well. I need to get in contact but I don't remember the direct line number. The only number I have found is an 0845 one which no-one ever answers and a voice says it will be answered in 30 secs, then never is..and then 2 mins later it says your call will be answered in 5 mins!!! (I don't have much faith in that either).. I don't have time to hang around!

I just want the name of a person who I can put down as a referee who can tell the employer that I did indeed work there. I doubt anyone would really remember me though. Anyone know the number of the Bristol Cribbs Causeway store? Not 0845? An 0117 number would be great.

It is quite important as the job im going for is in customer service and this is the job where I have the experience.
